I am a freshman student at Metropolitan state university of Denver. For as long as I been going I was able to take advantage of resources that really help me such as tutoring and student employment. I am very new but so far I have no problems.

Going to Metro is a great choice. For me, the biggest perk is it is much more affordable than other colleges. Going to school be comes a lot easier since you don’t have to pay an arm and a leg to go there. The only thing you’re losing in that is a little bit of college experience. Since they are a smaller college, they don’t have dorm or as much on campus housing. This can result in a little loss of student life.

Professors are nice and helpful, both in person and online. The campus is in the middle of downtown, this can sometimes raise issues with safety due to the homeless population, and incidents on RTD. Other than that I enjoy attending MSU Denver and appreciate the diversity and inclusiveness. The workload is manageable and you can build a schedule that works for you.

MSU Denver is a great school. The teachers are amazing, and so helpful at making sure we learn the material. I feel like they offered me a well-rounded education. Classes are the right size with not too many people, allowing for a good learning environment. The biology and chemistry departments are awesome. They have good laboratories to learn in. The experiments and dissections were good learning opportunities, and so much fun. The campus is beautiful, with downtown Denver in the background.

So, I am a concurrent enrollment student with my high school which I highly recommend. This college definitely helps with those pre rec. classes. If you're looking for a cheap college and a quick and easy major this is the place for you. Denver is a great city, but it is a capital meaning there is lots of traffic and sometimes sketchy people on campus, especially in the library.

The art program is an exceptional program. When I compare my experiences to those of private art schools I found my education is far more thorough and relevant to contemporary art standards.

I'm a student athlete at Metro State University of Denver. I am proud to represent this school and thankful to be part of such a big and beautiful campus in the heart of Denver. It is such a refreshing change from the smaller institution I attended previously. I regret nothing about transferring here. Go RoadRunners!

Overall, I am loving my time at MSU Denver. The diversity on campus is astounding! From ethnicity to disability status and religion, there are people from all different walks of life. My only issue is the treatment of Club sports teams, they are practically being forced to practice off campus unless they want to pay $200 to practice in a hallway for 2 hours.

Metropolitan is a great school it is a clean and organized campus. All the professor i had were very understanding when it comes to circ*mstances and would also provide assistance in assignments. i meet new people who i never thought i would meet and i got to learn about them and they would also help with my college assignments when I didn't understand a subject.

There is not much to offer in the way of student housing besides expensive apartments nearby. This meant I had to commute to my in-person classes which often took 1 and 1/2 to 3 hours both ways with traffic. It became inconvenient and knowing I had that drive made me quick to leave campus after my classes and made it hard to get involved in anything on campus. Overall it didn't provide the college experience I was looking for and felt more like a job that I was commuting to. To Metro's credit, it is extremely cheap and I was able to get through most of my undergraduate work and can now transfer to a college that will give me the experiences I am looking for.

My experience at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) has been inspiring and transforming. The university's commitment to support and motivate, most definitely, fosters a vibrant and dynamic learning environment. There are numerous student organizations and activities that offer opportunities for personal and professional growth.
In conclusion, my time at MSU Denver has been fulfilling, thanks to its supportive community, dedicated faculty, and practical approach to education, undoubtedly contributes to my academic and personal growth.

The school is very diverse, and very easy to get accepted into. I love this! I hate to see how many institutions pride themselves on exclusivity and the barriers to entry. That should not exist in academia!
I would like to see more food options for students on campus.

Iam a junior and this is a decent school. The campus is nice and big plus you can connect with people from CU Denver and Community College of Denver. The professors at the College of Business are decent and the students are serious and easy to get along with. There is a lot of help available for tutoring so use them. The Auraia Library is the best place to study! There are food trucks mostly on Wednesdays (and some other days) and there are plenty of free food events. The wifi sucks and you have to walk far to some buildings. Occasionally you may encounter a bad professor but if you treat them nicely they will help. Avoid the bookstore at all costs because they overcharge (sometimes buy directly from purchasing sites and check out Cengage Unlimited plan options or similar ideas. The RTD train stations are a great mode of transportation. The school is in a high crime rate area so be alert- sign up for texts to keep you updated.

Metro has been an incredible opportunity for me as a freshman online student. The staff has been so helpful in getting me set up and my advisor has been responsive in helping me register for classes. I am excited to be able to obtain my degree fully online, as I work full-time. Metro provides incredible flexibility with its online classes and the campus is a great place to visit.

I enjoyed my professors, the facilities, campus and curriculum. I did not enjoy the student culture, and parking very much. People are quite antisocial and it is a lot easier to commute using the train than it is to drive.

I transferred to MSU Denver from Grand Canyon University in 2022, and MSU Denver has been very good to me. While there are some downsides (like affordable living near campus), I have enjoyed many of my classes and many of my professors. Since perusing a more rigorous career, I’ve felt supported in it educationally and connection wise. Even though I commute, I’ve felt that I have a supportive community.

I haven’t started school quite yet but my experience has been amazing and eye opening so far. I didn’t apply myself in high school because I thought higher education was out of my reach. I didn’t even try to put in applications in my senior year. A few month ago I had an epiphany and decided to send some applications out for universities and Metro was the only one that gave me a chance. I couldn’t be more thankful for that.
