  1. #1 Best College Campuses in ColoradoUniversity of Colorado BoulderBoulder, CO•4 Year•Rating 3.77 out of 5 3,154 reviewsAlum: CU Boulder is an amazing university in an amazing location. Tons to do outside of the university from the city life and culture of Boulder and Denver, to anything outdoor related in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Lots of programs, clubs, and other opportunities to get involved with and the faculty and colleges are world class. Dining halls are diverse and quality and housing is usually decent albeit expensive, especially in newer developments or rentals nearby. Very bikeable and/or bussable for getting around almost anywhere.... 2. #2 Best College Campuses in ColoradoColorado Christian UniversityLakewood, CO•4 Year•Rating 4.12 out of 5 1,382 reviewsGraduate Student: I am graduating this May (2024) with a MA in Biblical Studies. The program is rigorous to say the least, but fair. 75% of the professors care about you as a student and as a human being. There are always some who are not present - do not take part in any discussions and who do not give any feedback - they are no where to be found! AND THEN, there are some who comment throughout the discussions, provide personal videos each week going over classwork, offer Zoom sessions for live feedback, and practically give you a thesis for feedback. No institution can be 100% in this category, but CCU comes close. I do wish they offered doctoral degrees in Biblical Studies. I would like to stay at this school and teach here as well one day. 5. #9 Best College Campuses in ColoradoRegis UniversityDenver, CO•4 Year•Rating 3.72 out of 5 1,162 reviewsFreshman: So far, my experience at Regis University has been amazing. Just because they are a private university and the tuition is a lot higher than a public university doesn’t mean you shouldn’t apply. They have a lot of financial aid- and which in my case made my tuition a lot less expensive compared to if I went to a public university. The professors are helpful, supportive, and laid back. They care about your learning and if you’re having trouble with anything in regards to school life or something out of it, they’re understanding and willing to help work something out with you. The students here are friendly and you’ll be able to make new friends easily. One last thing to add, the classes here are smaller than that of a public university and in my instance was more beneficial in better connecting me with my group of friends and better connecting and contacting me with the professors.... 6. University of Colorado DenverDenver, CO•4 Year•Rating 3.65 out of 5 1,886 reviewsFreshman: I have a great overall experience at the University of Colorado Denver. The faculty and staff were knowledgeable and supportive, which made my learning experience enjoyable. The campus facilities were well maintained and provided a conducive environment for studying. One thing I particularly liked about the university was the diverse range of courses and programs offered. This allowed me to explore different areas of interest and tailor my education to my career goals. The professors were experienced professionals in their fields, and their expertise enriched the learning experience. In terms of improvements, I would like to see more opportunities for student engagement and extracurricular activities. While there were some clubs and organizations, I believe the university could do more to create a vibrant campus community.Overall, I highly recommend the University of Colorado Denver for its quality education, supportive environment, and diverse range of academic offerings.... 7. Colorado School of MinesGolden, CO•4 Year•Rating 3.72 out of 5 976 reviewsFreshman: The food is not all bad, but if you're not willing to go out your comfort zone you'll have a rough time (and sometimes it really is that bad). Golden overcompensates for this quite well (I recommend Bob's Atomic Burgers, Woody's, Golden Dinner, and Golden Sweets, just to name a few).Classes can be daunting at times, but don't let that define you. The professors are here for you. The community is amazing and there's no doubt that, with enough passion and self-sustainability, anyone can make it through. This girl I met before I started my first year told me something that's always stuck with me: If you're smart enough to get into Mines, you're smart enough to graduate from Mines.... At first, I thought it would be hard for me to make friends and because of their events/activities such as "speed friending" and "skate night". I met some of the most supportive people that I did not expect that I would consider them as my bestfriends. The professors are awesome! Some professors are not perfect, especially those who are new to the profession and have not had a lot of experience. I would like to see updates made to the online tools, especially for registering for classes and making advising appointments. Mine haven’t worked in several semesters. I would also like to see the DegreeCheck tool work a little better. As a double major considering adding a certificate, it’s not quite sure how to apply all my credits the right way, and the credits I completed as concurrent enrollment in high school also are shown in a strange way.
