COVID-19 Student Updates Landing Page (1)

This page outlines iPEC’s ongoing response to the global public health emergency known as the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). Due to the evolving nature of the situation, we are monitoring updates regularly and the information below is subject to change.

Updated as of Thursday, October 1, 2020

Due to the ongoing impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the status for the physical classroom locations for November and December 2020 training modules are currently under review.

Enrolled students, please note:

  • Enrolled students will be contacted directly with any updates to their physical module classrooms for November/December 2020 and moving forward into 2021.
  • If you are an enrolled student and your physical training location must be canceled due to the pandemic, the iPEC Team will be in contact with you to discuss your options. A custom announcement will also be added to your Student Hub dashboard.
  • To check for latest announcement updates in the Hub, please remember to click on the iPEC "home" logo to view your main dashboard. (Quick video tutorial here.)

Non-enrolled iPEC Coach Community members, please note:

  • We will be discontinuing our monthly updates for classroom changes to the full Coach Community in the Hub and Coach Community on Facebook.
  • Any covid-related general updates will be shared in the monthly Community newsletter and you can view the iPEC website to stay up to date on current virtual and physical classrooms.

Training Location Statuses

Student Support Requests

You may check the current status of all locations for our training modules on the iPEC website.

Please note, we are in contact with all our training location partners on a regular basis and also monitoring the situation with state, federal, and international agencies. Any location changes due to COVID-19 will be updated on the iPEC website and enrolled students affected by the change will be notified either by email, phone call, and/or text message.

For those who are waiting on assistance from the Student Support team, we ask for your continued patience as we prioritize and respond to the overwhelming amount of help requests. Please know that your request has been received and do not submit multiple tickets or emails to Student Support, as this creates confusion and can actually lengthen the queue for yourself and others needing service assistance.

You can also check the Help Center for self-service troubleshooting for common questions and technical issues.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work together to keep moving forward during these unprecedented times!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What Happens if my Physical Mod Classroom is Cancelled?
If your physical classroom location must be cancelled due to the pandemic, please note the following:

—The physical classroom location will be moved to a live virtual classroom. Every student who was previously assigned in that classroom will automatically be assigned to a live virtual classroom so that we may save your seat in the class.

—Once you are assigned to a live virtual classroom and your seat is saved, you will then have three options to choose from:

  • Option 1: Attend the module virtually as assigned
  • Option 2: Request an alternate virtual classroom training date/time zone
Please note: Each virtual classroom has an attendee limit, so if you request a different virtual training date/time zone you will be immediately added to that class if there is room and if there is not, you will be added to the waitlist to be processed if seats become available.
  • Option 3: Defer to a future physical classroom
    — Please note: If you decide to defer to a future physical classroom, you will acknowledge that you are releasing your seat from your newly assigned classroom so another student may have it.

    — Additionally, the future classroom schedule for physical attendance is not guaranteed per the ongoing global crisis, and will be processed once seats are available.

Q. What are the logistical requirements for attending the live virtual classroom?
You can view the requirements for technology, environment, important dates, and guest attendance
for the live virtual classroom here.

Q. Will my other “mod mates” be moved to the same virtual classroom with me?
You might be placed in a class outside of your local time zone and/or combined with another iPEC cohort. If you are in a combined class, this gives you the unique opportunity to experience an expanded iPEC network where you will meet and interact closely with another classroom of like-minded iPEC coaches.

Q. The tuition I paid was for three physical/in-person modules, do I get a refund?
No refunds will be distributed. In reality, it actually costs more to put on a virtual training than it does to hold a physical location training! The great thing is that iPEC has chosen not to pass along these added expenses to you.

Q. Where can I learn more about the virtual classroom experience?
You are invited to learn more about the virtual classroom experience in the following ways:

Our Belief

These are unprecedented times. We believe that now, more than ever, there is a need for coaches in the world. During this fast-changing and uncertain time, we are seeing the iPEC Coach Community rise up and approach this unknown with compassion, understanding, and curiosity. Our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted in any way by this pandemic, and we will continue to respond and navigate the situation together as gracefully and swiftly as we are able.

We are committed to delivering our coach training program as scheduled in accordance with our standard terms and procedures. We will comply with all international, national, state, and local guidelines. We will also provide the same power of choice and flexibility for current students to adjust their training schedule and/or locations as it works best for them.

Your current day-to-day life and routine might be experiencing some unplanned restructuring. We are all being asked to pivot, cancel, or reschedule plans, and come together (maintaining #socialdistancing, of course) for the greater good.

We understand that it can be a bit overwhelming to have a constant stream of breaking news headlines and an influx of messages and warnings from doctors, hospitals, and politicians. That’s why we’ve created this page for you to use as a reference to minimize fear, maximize mindfulness, and leverage a coaching mindset as we navigate through the next few weeks. Feel free to bookmark this page whenever you feel you need a bit of regrounding! Check it out here.
