I filmed a Reel with everything I’m packing in my hospital bag this time around as a second time mom. Even though I feel like I kept thingspretty minimal, the bag got filled quite quickly! I’d rather have something I want/need than wish I had it!
(Here’s what I packed the first time around.)

FOR MOM:

Toiletries: (my everyday makeup, makeup remover wipes, mini hair brush, new toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, postnatal vitamins, Colace, deodorant, face wash, lip mask, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, face wash, lotion, etc.)

SOO excited for you!!!!! I’m not usually so genuinely excited for people on the internet but I am for you! You are going to do amazing and this baby boy is so lucky to have you and an amazing big brother! The brotherly bond is so special as you know from having your sister.
Would love to see a breakdown of your every day makeup!
Such practical and useful things!! Thanks for sharing with us!

I remember bringing the baby book so they could put the footprints in? Not sure if this is still a thing.
Consider this as a post idea: pros and cons of having a summer vs. winter baby. There’s obviously no “best time” to have a baby, but curious to know subjectively & objectively what you liked and disliked about having babies during opposite seasons. Best of luck as you reach your due date. xx

No one will know the size of your jeans but they’ll know if they don’t fit! Struggling with my postpartum body… and just decided to go to the store and buy jeans that fit! Who knows what will happen down the road (my postpartum body always feels foreign for a while), but for now I have jeans that fit and that I feel good in. 🫶🏻 Leave a comment with “jeans” and I’ll send you links for my outfit! 🔗

Can’t wait to fill Rory’s @petitekeep trunk with special memories and treasures 🫶🏻 Jack’s is tucked away in his closet and every once in a while I open it up to store another item and reminisce on all the wonderful moments of his life so far. Love these keepsakes 🤍🍼👶🏼

After quite a tough pregnancy, from the first days all the way to the very end, I’m finally starting to feel like myself again! Nothing better than feeling a bit more “me.” I am trying to prioritize taking care of myself by carving out little slivers of time to do things that I enjoy… I don’t have unlimited time for hobbies, but I’ll take what I can get! I’m working on a couple of small needlepoint projects and I’m excited to start on Rory’s stocking soon🧵 🪡

My Valentine + Valentine Baby ❣️ After a very stressful start to the year, Rory’s birth felt like a bright light of hope and positivity. I’m so, so grateful for a healthy (and speedy!) delivery with Mike by my side. (If you’re local, I switched to @madisonaveobgyn and this experience was night and day compared to my first pregnancy/delivery. I am *eternally* grateful for incredible care both during pregnancy and especially during delivery. It makes a huge difference.)
